The City of Columbus Greater Hilltop Area Commission (“GHAC”) meets at 7:00 pm the first Tuesday of most months. Meetings are held in the general meeting room at the Hilltop branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, located at 511 S. Hague Avenue. All meetings are open to the public.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Commission will be held on the 2nd Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 7:00 PM due to the Holiday.
There will not be an election on June 30, 2018 for the Greater Hilltop Area Commission. The GHAC only needs to have an election if more than four petitions are filed. There are four seats that expire each year and this year four people filed their petitions.
The GHAC will seek to fill 1 (one) appointed seat at the July 10, 2018 meeting. In order to be appointed to the Commission all applicants for the appointment must be present at this Commission meeting. Qualifications for this seat are that the applicant must be 18 years old or older and either live in the Hilltop or work or own property in the Hilltop. The term for this seat will be from September 1, 2018 to August 31, 2021.
